A towering mountain range on the Italian border, the highest peak of which measures nearly 16,000 feet, making it the second highest mountain in Europe. Chamonix Mont Blanc is one of the most beautiful village in Alps. It is bigger than other villages in Alps. Several, beautiful and different attractions around. The Village is very organized, alot of Parking Zone while it is mostly full. The walk in the village center was a really amazing experience, different restaurants, Cafe and shops specially Gifts Shops. I was staying about 3 km from the center but i drive there everyday morning and evening. I like its weather, I like the views of the mountains around, I like it all. I stayed in lovely small villa with stunning view of mountains. It was unforgotten stay in Chamonix.
We rode the cable car all the way to the top of the mountain and were greeted with incredible views and a clear blue sky,it is a must on any travelers list. but whats special about Chamonix is that its on the border of 3 countries (France, Italy & Switzerland), It is also about 1 hour driving to Geneva, 2 hours and half driving to Milan. Chamonix is really highly recommended and i would visit it again next years.
